PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAMS : Sunday’s Game Will Be on TV
The Rams announced Thursday that Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints at Anaheim Stadium is a sellout and will be televised locally. The Rams’ three previous home games this season were blacked out.
Starting left guard Tom Newberry did not practice because of a sprained right ankle but said he wants to play against the Saints’ big pass rush.
However, Coach John Robinson said Newberry probably would be available only as a backup, with Bern Brostek, who has his own ankle injury, moving in at left guard.
