Disneyland Train Car Derails; No One Hurt
ANAHEIM —
An unoccupied car on a monorail train at Disneyland derailed Friday night as maintenance workers were trying to put the train into service.
Disneyland spokesperson Jonna Bartges said the accident occurred at about 7 p.m,. as two Disneyland employees trying to move the train from a maintenance area had mechanical difficulties.
One of the rear cars slid off the track. The two employees, in a front car, were not injured.
