Schneider Sets Records

Scott Schneider threw for 504 yards and eight touchdowns, both San Diego Section records, as Francis Parker routed The Bishop’s School, 67-21, in an eight-man football game Friday at Bishop’s.

Jim Plum of Helix threw for 434 yards in an 11-man game in 1981. Carl King of Lutheran had seven touchdown passes in an eight-man game in 1984. Schneider broke both records, completing 21 of 29 passes for an average of 24 yards per completion.

Bryn Spradling tied another section record with four touchdown receptions.

Parker improved to 5-4, 3-2; Bishop’s fell to 2-5, 1-4.
