COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : UCLA : Maddox Still Weak but Plans to Play
UCLA quarterback Tommy Maddox, who suffered a concussion in Saturday night’s game at Stanford, said he still feels weak. “But I feel a lot better than I did yesterday and my headache is not as severe,” he said. Maddox said that he’s optimistic that he will play Saturday against Oregon at the Rose Bowl. If Maddox can’t play, he will be replaced by senior Jim Bonds.
