Five Texas El Paso players who made long-distance calls on university telephones have been suspended for a game by the NCAA. Roy Howard, Johnny Melvin, Marlon Maxey, David Van Dyke and Prince Stewart have been assigned games in which they cannot play, the El Paso Herald-Post reported.
