Burbank 27, San Gabriel 20--Led by the brother tandem of Frank and Steve Brenes, the Bulldogs (6-4, 3-2) clinched a Southern Section playoff berth at Keppel High.

Frank Brenes rushed seven times for 107 yards, including an 84-yard touchdown run, and Steve added 98 yards and a touchdown in 12 carries as Burbank amassed 327 yards on the ground and built a 27-8 lead after three quarters.

Burbank’s Kendrick Lewis scored on a 72-yard punt return.
