A fire broke out in the garage of an Anaheim apartment complex early Sunday, causing damage estimated at $85,000.
Anaheim fire officials said the structure at 2915 Baywood Ave., which houses five double-car garages, caught fire shortly before 1 a.m. Firefighters were able to control the blaze in 20 minutes, preventing it from spreading to the attached apartments.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Five vehicles were damaged or destroyed, at an estimated loss of $25,000. Damage to the structure was estimated at $60,000. No injuries were reported.
