Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested
TUSTIN —
Tustin police arrested a bank robbery suspect Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Michael Edward Sousa, 36, was arrested at the Bel Air Motor Hotel without incident hours after a First Interstate Bank in Laguna Hills was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money, said FBI spokesman Jim Donckels.
Sousa, who was on parole, was convicted in 1988 for several bank robberies and was released from prison in September, Donckels said.
