In the Savanna boys’ basketball tournament final:
Sunny Hills 56, Savanna 31--Sunny Hills jumped out to an early 9-1 lead and breezed to victory.
Terry Mann scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds and blocked six shots to lead the Lancers despite sitting much of the second half after picking up his fourth foul with 3:58 to play in the third quarter.
In his absence Sunny, Hills added to their lead with strong play from Mario Bertuol, who scored 12 points and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds, and Brandon Haynes, who scored eight points coming off the bench.
The most trouble the Lancers had was getting the ball in bounds after Savanna baskets. Savanna forced the Lancers into five five-second calls and forced five more turnovers.
Tobie Priest and Marlon Watson each scored 12 points for Savanna.
