In other nonconference women’s basketball:

Christ College Irvine 77, Redlands 59--Gitte Mejer and Kaisa Kepsu each scored 22 points for host Christ College Irvine (5-1), which won its fifth consecutive game. Mejer also had 12 rebounds for the Eagles.

Southern California College 70, Biola 65--Cyndie Lyons scored 24 points, making all eight of her free throws, for the host Vanguards (5-4). Kristen Bevis scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half. She also had eight assists and seven steals.

In California Coastal Conference women’s basketball:

Pacific Christian 47, La Sierra 18--Kristin Henrickson had 15 points and 13 rebounds for Pacific Christian (4-3).

In nonconference men’s basketball:

Bethany 89, Chapman 84--The Panthers (3-4) lost their third game to an NAIA District 3 team this season. Rog Middleton had 21 for Chapman.

La Verne 77, Christ College Irvine 65--Charles Lockard scored 16 points and D’Andre Brown had 14 for the Eagles (4-3). Matt Hatten had 22 for La Verne, and Etop Udo-Ema, a transfer from UC Irvine, had 19.
