IRON JOE: In the Rams’ glory days, the defense’s “Fearsome Foursome” or standouts like fullback Dick (The Scooter) Bass got most of the attention. But die-hard fans had a longtime love affair with offensive lineman Iron Joe Scibelli, who died Wednesday (C1) at age 52. He played from 1961-75, was team captain and later named by fans to the All-Time Rams team. . . . “Most fullbacks today are bigger than he was in the ‘60s and ‘70s,” recalled Dick Enberg, former radio voice of the Rams. “He was a tribute to the underdog spirit.”
