PREP NOTES

Frank Becker, an assistant baseball coach at Villa Park High School for the past 15 years and the school’s athletic director the past two years, was named the school’s varsity baseball coach, replacing Dave Ochoa. Ochoa resigned last week.

Becker, 41, was a varsity assistant at El Modena in 1974 and then coached freshman baseball at Villa Park from 1975-84. He coached the school’s frosh-soph team from 1988-90.
