Bush, Magic Johnson to Meet at White House

WASHINGTON —
President Bush will meet with Earvin (Magic) Johnson on Tuesday to discuss the former basketball superstar’s role in educating the public about AIDS, the White House said Friday.
Bush appointed Johnson to the National Commission on AIDS after Johnson announced last fall that he had contracted the human immunodeficiency virus, which causes AIDS, and planned to become a spokesman about the epidemic.
