DEA Finds Cocaine in Cars in Calexico
Federal officials seized 3,438 pounds of cocaine from four parked cars in Calexico on Monday, authorities said.
Federal drug agents, acting on a tip, put four cars with Baja license plates under surveillance. The cars were parked on Imperial Avenue in Calexico, Drug Enforcement Administration officials said. A search of the cars resulted in the seizure of of the cocaine, which was in one- and two-kilogram packages.
