SCC to Battle for First Place

With first place in the Golden State Athletic Conference at stake, the Southern California College men’s basketball team will play host to Westmont at 7:30 tonight.

SCC (19-6, 6-2) and Westmont (15-9, 6-2) are tied for first with four conference games remaining. The conference champion probably will receive the No. 2 seed in the NAIA District 3 playoffs. The Vanguards defeated Westmont, 80-76, in overtime at Westmont in January.
