Pedestrian Killed on I-805 at Border
A man was struck and killed late Saturday as he attempted to run across the southbound lanes of Interstate 805 near the San Ysidro Boulevard off-ramp, San Diego police said.
The unidentified victim was described as about 25 to 30 years old, wearing white denim pants and a red and white striped shirt and may have been an illegal Mexian migrant. The driver continued south without stopping, police said. However, the car’s license plate was found at the scene of the accident, and authorities were searching for the driver.
