COLLEGE BASKETBALL / PACIFIC 10 ROUNDUP : Mills Leads No. 5 Arizona to Big Victory Over Oregon

Chris Mills scored 21 points to lead No. 5 Arizona to a 104-56 Pacific 10 Conference victory over Oregon Thursday night at Eugene, Ore.

The blowout was Oregon’s worst loss at home and moved Arizona (21-4, 10-3) within one game of Pac-10 co-leaders USC and UCLA.

Khalid Reeves and Ed Stokes each scored 14 points for the Wildcats, who led by 34 points at halftime. Seven Arizona players scored more than 10 points.

Orlando Williams scored 18 points for Oregon (6-17, 2-12).

Stanford 78, Washington 66--Adam Keefe scored 36 points to lead the Cardinal at Stanford.

Keefe had 20 of the Cardinal’s first 25 points in the second half as Stanford (15-8, 7-6) held off the Huskies (11-14, 4-10) to end a two-game losing streak.

Washington rallied from a 20-point first-half deficit to pull to within 60-53 on Rich Manning’s jump shot with 10:38 left. But Keefe scored all 10 points in a 10-3 run that put the Cardinal ahead, 70-66, with 7:03 remaining.

Oregon State 80, Arizona State 72--Scott Haskin led the Beavers (14-13, 6-8) with 28 points in the victory over the Sun Devils (15-11, 6-7) at Corvallis, Ore.

Washington State 79, California 72--Neil Derrick scored 21 points and Terrence Lewis had 20 as the Cougars (19-8, 7-7) beat the Golden Bears (8-15, 2-11) at Berkeley.
