Three Iowa wrestlers won championships, led by three-time winner Tom Brands, as the Hawkeyes won their second consecutive team title and 13th in school history, 11th under Coach Dan Gable.
Brands won at 134 pounds and was named the tournament’s outstanding wrestler. His twin brother, Terry, won at 126 and Troy Steiner won at 142.
