From Staff and Wire Reports
Arizona junior forward Chris Mills pleaded not guilty Friday to a misdemeanor charge of criminal damage for throwing a rock through the front window of a pickup truck.
The truck’s owner, Joseph R. Gomez, 22, was charged with misdemeanor counts of assault, trespassing and criminal damage, police said.
Mills told police he was asleep at the house of a 21-year-old woman when Gomez, the woman’s former boyfriend, broke through the door and attacked the couple.
