Share

Senior Rick Brady concluded his college career with a flourish, playing all nine positions for The Master’s College baseball team Thursday. But the occasion was spoiled as Cal Baptist won the NAIA District 3 game, 11-5, at Master’s.

Brady started the game at catcher, then rotated around the infield and outfield positions before starting the ninth inning on the mound. Cal Baptist was leading, 6-4, when Brady started his pitching stint by walking the first three batters.

He gave up a single before being relieved by Matt Davis, who had pitched the fourth through eighth innings.
