Raiders Release Jerry Robinson
Jerry Robinson, 36, was released Monday by the Raiders after seven seasons. According to the Raiders, it was a mutual decision.
Robinson, a 13-year-NFL veteran who starred at UCLA, was acquired by the Raiders from Philadelphia in 1985.
The first-round draft choice by the Eagles in 1979, Robinson has hinted that he may look for a job with another NFL team for the 1992 season.
