They Have No Trouble Condemning Scott for Opinions on Riot
Mark Heisler’s message is that people fork over too much money for sports events and not enough “to attack society’s core problem.” If that money were spent on “poverty patients” instead of athletes’ salaries, we would have a much greater problem.
Consider the destructive impact of excess time for athletes from 4-40 years (and their fans) if professional sports died. Why not consider having the pro athletes fork over part of their excessive salaries?
