Greg Garrison, the special prosecutor in Mike Tyson’s rape trial, criticized the NAACP and women’s rights advocates, saying they didn’t support the woman Tyson was convicted of attacking.

“It looked pretty clear that during the Tyson trial it was the NAAMCP--the National Association for the Advancement of Male Colored People,” Garrison said.

Tyson was convicted in February of raping a Miss Black America contestant Desiree Washington in his Indianapolis hotel room last summer.
