Share

For the first time in Eric Davis’ career, he played a third different outfield position in three days Tuesday when he moved to right field, where he will remain until Darryl Strawberry returns.

Davis has not started in right field since May 24, 1989, but he said the adjustment should be minimal.

“The whole thing is positioning yourself,” he said. “But once they go through the order one time, I’ll be fine.”
