The Seattle Mariners’ pitching problems continued to escalate when they put Randy Johnson on the 15-day disabled list because of a bruised left elbow. The Mariners, who gave up 22 hits Sunday in a 14-4 loss to Milwaukee, also placed Jim Acker on the 15-day disabled list because of a broken bone in his left wrist.
