Parker Bohn III beat Ron Williams, 185-162, to earn the top seeding for the championship round of the Professional Bowlers Assn. El Paso Open.
Bohn needs to win one game in today’s finals for his sixth PBA title. He garnered the top spot after totaling 10,203 pins. It’s the second time this year the left-hander has been top seeded. He lost from the No. 1 spot five weeks ago at the Earl Anthony PBA Open in Dublin, Calif., and is 5-2 when leading going into the finals.
