BUSY DAYS: Corona del Mar High School water polo coach John Vargas, who is on the U.S. water polo team, has been busy with promotions: a shot with other national team members for Mademoiselle magazine, plus a team poster shot in Malibu. And in a few days he is expected to be named to the Olympic team. But it’s Spain for Vargas, Summer Games or not. . . . He is giving up his coaching job next fall to marry and move to Spain, where his fiancee works.
