Reseda 6, Van Nuys 0--DeWayne Johnson scored on a four-yard run in the first quarter and finished with 54 yards in 14 carries to lead host Reseda.
Reseda quarterback Reggie James completed three of five passes. Van Nuys, which outgained Reseda in total yards, 227 to 116, turned the ball over three times on fumbles. Van Nuys quarterback John Peterson completed five of 10 for 131 yards.
Van Nuys had a first and goal at the Reseda three-yard line but turned the ball over on downs.
