Magic’s All-Star Game Tonight; Decision on Season Still in Limbo
With his decision on retiring or returning still up in the air, Magic Johnson is turning first to his annual charity all-star game, tonight’s seventh annual Midsummer’s Night Magic.
His agent, Lon Rosen, says Johnson won’t make an announcement this weekend.
Rosen says Johnson has been cleared by his doctors and must now decide what he wants to do.
Johnson will play on the blue squad tonight at 7:30 in the Forum with Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Mullin, Larry Johnson, Danny Manning, Kendall Gill, Muggsy Bogues, Stacey Augmon, Sedale Threatt and Doc Rivers.
They will face a team of Mark Aguirre, Herb Williams, Kevin Willis, Detlef Schrempf, Shawn Kemp, Billy Owens, Kevin Johnson, Reggie Miller, Ron Harper and Spud Webb.
Proceeds will go to the United Negro College Fund.
