FRIDAY FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Lincoln Strong-Arms Eagle Rock in 24-7 Win

Quarterback Gerardo Roman hooked up with receiver Marcelo Ortega for three touchdowns to lift undefeated Lincoln to a 24-7 win over Eagle Rock in a Northern Conference game.
Eagle Rock scored with 1:58 to go in the first half to take a 7-0 lead. But Roman hit Ortega on touchdown strikes of nine, three and seven yards in the second half to seal the win. Roman, who had already passed for more than 1,000 yards coming into the game, completed 16 of 28 passes for 172 yards, and Ortega finished with eight receptions for 84 yards.
Eagle Rock quarterback Manny Navarette completed 16 of 28 passes for 152 yards and threw a touchdown to tight end Tony Covarrubias.
