In Freeway League girls’ volleyball:

La Habra 3, Fullerton 0--Katy Gayton had 16 kills and Jackie Kelley had 14 for visiting La Habra (9-1, 5-1), which won, 15-4, 15-5, 15-5. Nadia Hoerner had 14 kills for Fullerton (6-8, 3-3).

In the Garden Grove League:

Santiago 3, Los Amigos 1--Jennifer Morris had 21 kills and Michelle Cornette had 14 for host Santiago (7-3 in league), which won, 15-11, 15-6, 12-15, 15-1.

In the Sea View League:

Santa Margarita 3, Irvine 2--Leslie Nolan had 15 kills as visiting Santa Margarita (4-8, 4-6) won, 8-15, 18-16, 6-15, 15-10, 7-15. Kristi McNitt had 22 kills and Johanna Pursley had 17 for host Irvine (7-7, 5-5).

In the South Coast League:

El Toro 3, Mater Dei 0--Analisa Saylor had 35 assists and Amber Woodcock had eight kills for El Toro in a 15-5, 15-11, 15-10 victory.

In the Sunset League:

Edison 3, Fountain Valley 0--Brooke Weaver and Alicia Liniger each had 15 kills to help Edison (11-1, 9-1), ranked fifth in Orange County, to a 15-8, 15-3, 15-9 victory in a matchup of the league’s top two teams. Jenna Ybarra had 12 kills for visiting Fountain Valley (8-4, 8-2).

In South Coast League girls’ tennis:

El Toro 10, Mater Dei 8--Denise Kenyon and Carin Crawford clinched the match by winning two of three sets at No. 2 doubles for El Toro (11-5, 5-1).

In Century League boys’ cross-country:

El Modena 24, Villa Park 33--El Modena, ranked third in the Southern Section in Division III, clinched at least a tie for the league’s dual-meet title with the victory over Villa Park (fourth in Division II). Ty Wynn ran 16 minutes 1 second for the 3.1-mile course in Irvine Park for El Modena (5-0 in league). Villa Park is 4-1.

In Freeway League girls’ cross-country:

Buena Park 28, Fullerton 28 (Buena Park wins on faster sixth runner)--Maronel Barajas finished sixth in 22:59, more than a minute faster than Fullerton’s sixth runner, to give the Coyotes (3-1 in league) the victory. Buena Park, Fullerton and La Habra are in a three-way tie for first.
