SOUTHERN SECTION SCORE: Fontana (8) Eisenhower (4) SYNOPSIS: Quarterback Gary Tessitore scored on a one-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter in a key Citrus Belt League game at Fontana (7-1). SCORE: Muir (5): 27 Crescenta Valley: 0 SYNOPSIS: The Mustangs (7-1) moved closer to a Pacific League title as Saladin McCullough returned a punt 62 yards for a touchdown and ran 70 yards for another. SCORE: Los Altos: 24 Garey: 7 SYNOPSIS: Despite five turnovers, Los Altos (7-1) rolled up 349 yards of offense and limited Garey (1-7) to minus-five yards rushing in a Miramonte League game. SCORE: Santa Margarita: 35 Tustin: 21 SYNOPSIS: With Tustin mounting a comeback, Sean O’Brien threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Brian Finneran in the fourth quarter to put the Eagles (7-1) well ahead. SCORE: Warren: 13 Paramount: 3 SYNOPSIS: Jarvis Watson rushed for 193 yards in 28 carries and scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lead the Bears (6-2) to a San Gabriel Valley League upset. SCORE: Anaheim: 31 Valencia: 0 SYNOPSIS: Che Garcia rushed for 184 yards and two touchdowns and Brian Diaz rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown for Anaheim (7-1) in an Orange League game. SCORE: Loyola (3): 21 Alemany: 14 SYNOPSIS: Quarterback Clelio Boccato scored on a two-yard run with 8:59 left to preserve Loyola’s unbeaten streak in a Del Rey League game. The Cubs improved to 8-0. SCORE: LB Wilson: 32 LB Jordan: 6 SYNOPSIS: The Bruins (5-2-1) won their fourth game in the past five weeks as quarterback Brady Dunn passed for 107 yards and four touchdowns in a Moore League game. SCORE: Whittier: 21 El Rancho: 14 SYNOPSIS: The Cardinals (7-1), down 14-0 in the first quarter, scored twice in the third quarter to come from behind in a Whitmont League game at El Rancho (1-7). SCORE: Serra: 42 St. Monica: 21 SYNOPSIS: Ken Fredie rushed for 238 yards in 19 carries and three touchdowns to lead the Cavaliers (6-2) to a key victory in a Camino Real League game. SCORE: Charter Oak: 27 Walnut: 0 SYNOPSIS: The Chargers (8-0) remained undefeated as Mike Harris ran for 232 yards and four touchdowns in Miramonte League game at Walnut (6-2).

CITY SECTION SCORE: Belmont: 6 Marshall: 2 SYNOPSIS: Robert Anaya caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Yussef Evereteze in the second quarter to give the Sentinels (7-1) the Northern Conference victory. SCORE: Jefferson: 6 Locke: 6 SYNOPSIS: The Democrats (4-3-1) stopped a two-point conversion attempt with less than two minutes left to salvage a tie at Locke (4-3-1). SCORE: Hamilton: 21 Manual Arts: 6 SYNOPSIS: The Yankees (4-4) scored 21 consecutive points in the second half to overcome a 6-0 deficit in the Coastal Conference game at Manual Arts (2-5). SCORE: Lincoln: 22 Hollywood: 0 SYNOPSIS: The Tigers (7-1) scored all their points in the second quarter and Gerardo Roman passed for 198 yards in a Northern Conference game at Hollywood (1-7). SCORE: Westchester: 32 Los Angeles: 12 SYNOPSIS: Jermaine Lewis rushed for three touchdowns and Oliver Baines gained 203 yards and scored once for the visiting Comets (7-0-1) in a Coastal Conference game. SCORE: Franklin: 14 Verdugo Hills: 6 SYNOPSIS: Tony Delgado completed 14 of 35 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns for the host Panthers (4-4) in a Northern Conference game. SCORE: North Hollywood: 8 Grant: 6 SYNOPSIS: The Lancers drove to the the North Hollywood 22-yard line with 27 seconds left but did not have any timeouts in the Valley Pac-Eight Conference game at Grant. SCORE: Bell: 22 Roosevelt: 6 SYNOPSIS: Running back Bobby Sullivan, who rushed for 160 yards, scored his second touchdown of the game in the third quarter to put Bell (7-1) ahead for good at home. SCORE: South Gate: 25 Garfield: 10 SYNOPSIS: Alan Cervantes rushed for 117 yards in 16 carries in the Southeastern Conference game at South Gate (5-2).
