Canyon 39, Mary Star 7--Running back Ed Williams keyed a dominant Canyon attack with 17 carries for 207 yards and three touchdowns as the Cowboys totaled 305 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns in 36 carries at Daniels Field in San Pedro.

Williams, a 5-foot-9, 154-pound junior, scored on touchdown runs of 22, 26 and three yards.

Canyon (7-2) rolled up 441 yards in offense while holding the Stars (0-9) to 62 yards on the ground and 130 through the air.
