Saugus 42, Burroughs 14--Quarterback Bobby Cowan threw three touchdown passes and ran for a fourth to lead Saugus at College of the Canyons.

Cowan completed 11 of 28 for 193 yards. He teamed with Bobby Rodriguez (three catches for 100 yards) on a 68-yard scoring pass early in the first quarter and hit Jibri Hodge with a 17-yard scoring pass in the second quarter. The Centurions (7-1-1, 3-1) scored 21 third-quarter points as Cowan threw his third touchdown pass to Gerado Mendez from the three-yard line on the opening possession and ran from the one midway through the period.
