Antley Is Thrown by Mount at Aqueduct
Associated Press
NEW YORK —
Jockey Chris Antley was thrown to the track by his mount and apparently kicked shortly after the start of the sixth race at Aqueduct on Friday.
Antley was taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital, where an administrator said he was treated for minor injuries and released.
A track spokesman said Antley had been kicked in the side after being thrown by Koluctoo Jimmy Al, the favorite in the seven-furlong race for maiden 2-year-olds.
