Murphy 41, Bell-Jeff 7--Dan Ragsdale passed for 110 yards and ran for a touchdown to lead Murphy (8-2, 5-0) to the rout at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
Bell-Jeff (5-5, 2-3) scored its only points on Dave Quintero’s three-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
Murphy (8-2, 5-0) scored on Elliot Cruzata’s 85-yard fumble recovery with 14 seconds left in the half to take an 18-7 lead. Two plays into the second half, teammate Gibbons St. Paul intercepted a John Pawlick pass and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown.
