Sunny Hills Advances in Volleyball Regional
Rachel Hochgesang had 19 kills and two blocks to lead fifth-seeded Sunny Hills to a 15-3, 15-13, 15-13 victory over fourth-seeded Los Angeles Palisades in a Southern California Regional Division II girls’ volleyball match Wednesday at Los Angeles Palisades.
Setter Carolyn Sarnecki had 32 assists for the Lancers (20-2), who advanced to Saturday’s semifinals against top-seeded Bakersfield Highland.
