PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS : Graddy on Practice Roster

Share

Wide receiver Sam Graddy, who was put on injured reserve when he broke his right arm in the first game against Kansas City nine weeks ago, might play Sunday against the Chiefs. Last week, he replaced rookie Daryl Hobbs on the practice roster.

After clearing waivers, Hobbs was re-signed and Graddy was moved back on the injured-reserve list. Wednesday, Hobbs again was released and Graddy was moved back to the practice roster.

Before he was hurt, Graddy was the Raiders’ top kickoff returner and moved into the team’s rotation at wide receiver with 10 catches for 205 yards.

Eric Dickerson was excused from Wednesday’s practice for personal reasons. . . . Even though Kansas City is regarded as a running team, the Raiders have outgained the Chiefs on the ground this season, 1,373 yards to 1,325. The Raiders also have more yards passing, 2,081 to 1,946.
