In the Orange Lutheran tournament championship game:

Orange Lutheran 85, Pacifica 84--James Maddock made a pair of free throws with seven seconds left for Orange Lutheran.

Pacifica’s Chris Vlasic, who led all scorers with 26 points, gave the Mariners an 84-83 lead on a short jump shot with 20 seconds left. But on the Lancers’ next possession, Maddock was fouled and made both shots. The Mariners last second shot was short.

Orange Lutheran (3-0) was led by Tony Risberg with 21 points and tournament MVP Jeff Courvoisier with 20. The Lancers, who trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half, came back from a 43-35 halftime deficit with 31 points in the third quarter.

Vlasic was one of four Mariners to score in double figures. John Surface scored 24 points, followed by Ryan Teague and Jason Cousins with 13 apiece for Pacifica (2-1).

In the third-place game:

Magnolia 74, Orange 54--Aaron Williams scored 17 points and Demetrius Maltie added 16 for Magnolia. Gil Gonzales scored 16 for the Panthers.

In another consolation game:

Santiago 57, Anaheim 52--John Pelayo scored 17 points for Santiago (1-2), which overcame a 14-point deficit by outscoring Anaheim, 30-11, in the fourth quarter.
