NORTH HILLS : Partnership Collects Toys for Needy Kids
The San Fernando Valley Partnership is organizing a toy drive to collect gifts that will be distributed to needy children at a free Christmas party on Dec. 19.
Gifts or money to buy them can be dropped off at the partnership office at 1300 Celis St.in San Fernando until Wednesday. The presents will be handed out to children ranging in age from toddlers to teens at the Dec. 19 party, which will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 15435 Rayen St. in North Hills.
The partnership is a coalition of community groups and local leaders devoted to keeping young people away from drugs and alcohol.
