Whittier Christian 75, Whittier La Serna 58--Tyler Ream scored 20 points and Jeff Rutter added 17 to lead Whittier Christian (1-4).

In the Fullerton Holiday tournament:

Canyon 41, Brethren Christian 33--John Werhas had 10 points and Tony Pappas had seven rebounds for Canyon (2-2). Scott Thomas scored 19 points for Brethren Christian (2-4).

Fullerton 62, Los Altos 59--Chad Murray had 25 points for Fullerton (5-2). John Ricchio had nine rebounds.

In the Express League:

Heritage Christian 63, Rolling Hills Prep 29--Steve Acheson had 15 points and made two three-pointers for Heritage Christian (2-0, 1-0 in league).

In nonleague play:

California Lutheran 79, Pacific Shores 44--Joel Walker scored 22 points to lead California Lutheran (2-2) over Pacific Shores (1-2), which got 15 points from Chris Ross.

Capistrano Valley Christian 72, Temescal Canyon 40--Troy Rodarmel had 19 points for Capistrano Valley Christian (5-0).

Laguna Beach 61, Orange 52--Trigg Garner had 24 points and 13 rebounds for Laguna Beach (5-1). Pat Harris had 14 points for Orange.

Liberty Christian 57, Rio Hondo Prep 55--Toby Curto scored 18 points for Liberty Christian (6-3).

El Modena 61, Dana Hills 41--Aaron Aguilera scored 20 points to lead El Modena (4-4). Matt Clem had nine points for Dana Hills (2-4).

Los Alamitos 93, Villa Park 76--Steve Carbone, who scored 26 points, made all 14 of his free throws for the Griffins (7-2). Neuwyn Little and Collin Burke each had eight rebounds and scored 17 and 15 points, respectively, for Los Alamitos.

Estancia 56, Mission Viejo 55--David Bayer’s three-pointer at the buzzer missed for host Mission Viejo (2-3). Bayer finished with 28 points and 11 rebounds for the Diablos.

Bolsa Grande 64, Foothill 57--James Britton had 30 points for Bolsa Grande (4-2). Jared Winger had 20 points and eight rebounds for Foothill (3-5).
