Pasadena : Couple Sought in Slaying
Pasadena police are seeking the public’s help in finding a couple wanted for questioning in the slaying of a Pasadena man in their apartment two weeks ago.
The body of Andress Portillo, 34, was discovered in an apartment at 637 N. Raymond Ave. on Dec. 11.
Lt. Wayne Hiltz said police suspect Portillo was gunned down the night before by the unit’s tenants--Juan Sanchez de la Torre Sanchez, 36, and Juana Amesquita, 39.
Hiltz said witnesses saw the suspects fleeing the apartment moments after shots were heard Dec. 10. Police have not identified a motive for the crime.
