Sore Knee Puts Drexler on Injured List

The Portland Trail Blazers put guard Clyde Drexler on the injured list because of recurring soreness in his right knee. Drexler must miss the next five games, keeping him sidelined until at least Jan. 9.
Drexler underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Sept. 17. He missed most of training camp before returning to begin the season. Drexler has averaged 19.7 points and 6.6 rebounds in 21 games.
