The Cincinnati Reds signed third baseman Chris Sabo to a $3.1-million contract and relief pitcher Rob Dibble to a $2.5-million contract.

Sabo and Dibble had been eligible for salary arbitration. Their signings left four Reds eligible for arbitration--starting pitcher Tim Belcher, first baseman Hal Morris, catcher Joe Oliver and infielder-outfielder Bip Roberts.

Sabo batted .244 in 96 games last season with 12 homers and 43 RBIs. Dibble had a 3-5 record and a 3.07 earned-run average with 25 saves in 63 relief appearances.
