CAMARILLO : Roadwork to Close Lanes on Freeway
- Share via
The northbound lanes of the Ventura Freeway will be closed tonight between the Santa Rosa Road-Pleasant Valley Road overpass in Camarillo and half a mile south of the overpass, Caltrans said.
The lanes will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, state Department of Transportation officials said.
In addition, both southbound and northbound lanes along the same stretch will be closed between 11 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday as work proceeds to widen the overpass and install sound walls to cut down on noise near Camarillo High School.
The work is part of a $3.6-million road improvement project that began in September, 1991, and will be completed this spring. Simi Valley-based C. A. Rasmussen Inc. is the contractor on the half-mile-long project.
