Ventura 82, San Marcos 77--Darien Roberts and Anthony McCurtis each scored 19 points as host Ventura clinched the Channel League title. Curt Vaughan (16 points) and Dan McCashin (12) also scored in double figures for Ventura (20-2, 12-0).

Buena 76, Santa Barbara 69--The Bulldogs pulled off an upset in a Channel League game thanks to the free-throw shooting of Giovanni Angulo, who made 14 of 14. Adam Fairbanks added 22 points for Buena (6-15, 5-7).

Hueneme 56, Dos Pueblos 54--Wendell Nunnery scored 27 points and Wayne Revis added seven assists as Hueneme (13-8, 8-4) clinched a playoff berth with a Channel League win.

Chatsworth 69, Taft 67--Brady Mertes took a pass from Philbert Hernandez and scored the winning layup with three seconds remaining for Chatsworth (12-8, 6-0) in a West Valley League game. Hernandez scored 14 of his 19 points in the second half.

Monroe 75, Canoga Park 73--Kenatta Niles had 25 points and 14 rebounds, and Marco Rich added 17 points and 12 assists for Monroe (17-3, 7-1) in a Mid-Valley League game. Demond Callahan had 34 points and Glenn Davis had 25 for Canoga Park.

Crescenta Valley 48, Arcadia 46--Adam Jacobsen had 20 points for Crescenta Valley (18-3, 6-2) in a Pacific League game.

Thousand Oaks 57, Agoura 37--Thousand Oaks’ powerful front line was throttled, but guards Denny LeVine and Peter Lauer each scored 16 for the Lancers (21-1, 12-0) in a Marmonte League game.

Camarillo 61, Royal 55--Jim Hansen had 26 points and nine rebounds as Camarillo (11-11, 7-5) moved into a third-place tie with Agoura in the Marmonte League.

North Hollywood 101, Van Nuys 54--Damon Ollie scored 23 points and the Huskies (20-1, 7-0) hit 44 of 66 field-goal attempts in an East Valley League game.

Glendale 60, Hoover 40--Glendale’s David Sofro scored 26 points to help offset 23 points and 16 rebounds by Hoover’s Chad Reese in a Pacific League game.
