FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

1. Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane from Florence Avenue to Manchester Avenue, including the Florence Avenue on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday; bridge repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

2. Bell: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue; 6 to 11 a.m. today; bridge repair.

3. Various cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Humphreys Avenue to the Los Angeles River; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; median sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

4. East Los Angeles: Soto Avenue on-ramp to the eastbound Pomona Freeway (60); 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday; guardrail repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

5. Long Beach: Southbound No. 5 lane from Stearns Street to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) connector, including the connector and Stearns Street on-ramp; 6:30 a.m. to noon today; fill washout.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

6. Commerce: Washington Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday; road repair.

7. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane from Ditman Avenue onto the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector at Triggs Street, including Ditman Avenue on-ramp and Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.
