Brion Decides to Play Football at Fresno State

Jeremy Brion, a defensive back from Saddleback College and Capistrano Valley High, signed a letter of intent with Fresno State, Saddleback announced Wednesday.
Brion had 54 tackles and a state-leading nine interceptions to help Saddleback finish No. 1 in the JC Grid-Wire poll last season.
Brion, who earned all-state and All-America honors last season, has three years of eligibility remaining. Brion sat out the 1991 season as a redshirt at California before transferring to Saddleback.
Brent Longnecker, a Saddleback defensive lineman who had 65 tackles and seven sacks last season, signed a letter of intent with Western State College in Gunnison, Colo.
Sixteen players from last season’s Saddleback squad have signed with four-year schools.
