Oscar Watch: As for the Oscars, CNN’s “Showbiz Today” and E! Entertainment will offer live coverage when nominations for the 65th annual Academy Awards are announced at 5:30 a.m. (PST) Wednesday. The Oscar nomination story also will be prominent on the early morning network and local news programs. . . . Speaking of CNN, the network had to bounce Larry King’s scheduled interview with Kenny Rogers on Monday night to pick up live coverage of President Clinton’s address. Rogers has been re-booked for tonight’s program (6 p.m.), as has Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres.
