Share

The Salsa, playing on the road for the first time, beat the Vancouver 86ers in a constant rain in front of 3,753 in an American Professional Soccer League contest in Vancouver.

The winning goal was scored by Paul Wright with about seven minutes remaining. His goal came off an assist by Paulinho. It was Paulinho who had tied the score earlier in the second half.

He scored on a penalty kick after being fouled by Vancouver’s Paul MacDonald with 23 minutes left in the second half.
